Sten Tadashi Olson was born and raised near Seattle, where he developed a love for shooting and editing films on his family's home video camera. He moved to California to study Cinematography at Chapman University. After graduating he was nominated for the ASC Heritage Award for his work on the short film Darkstar. Mainly based out of Los Angeles, Sten has shot four seasons of the TV Series Johnson in Atlanta and has shot Feature Films and Music Videos in Colombia, The Philippines and Japan. In his free time, he enjoys playing piano, competing in table tennis and exploring nature.
